Feathers of Freedom
Our ‘Feathers of Freedom’ pieces are inspired by a powerful dream experienced by David’s mother during one of the darkest times of her life.
David is a courageous survivor of scam compound trafficking and exploitation. He endured months of unimaginable abuse before making a brave escape from his captors.
His story is also the inspiration behind Eden’s men’s Hope in a Hexagon collection and can be viewed here.
While David was still missing, his mother, desperate and heartbroken in Uzbekistan, fell to her knees and cried out in anguish, “Where is my son?” That night, she had a vivid dream. In it, two angels appeared and spoke to her gently: “I have heard your cry. Your son is alive and will be rescued by a woman of great faith.”
When she awoke, she felt a deep and unexplainable peace. Not long after, David was rescued and reunited with her.
Often in moments of extreme anguish and stress, the realm of the unseen can break in, David’s mother believed that angels delivered a message of hope to her during such a time. The feathers featured in this collection symbolize the comfort, protection, and hope that she and David experienced, like the sheltering wings of angels in their darkest hour.
