According to the ILO, 49.6 million people are trapped in modern-day slavery.
Our mission is to extend love to people who have been trafficked for the purpose of sexual exploitation. At Eden, we care for the whole person: their physical, emotional, spiritual, economic, and social well-being.

in the midst of increasing darkness, we are determined to shine brighter.
and empowerment to every vulnerable woman and girl being exploited, through Eden’s innovative programs.
from the giving of food parcels in red-light districts to gifting a friend a piece of Eden jewelry. Love is at the heart of everything we do.

Eden’s programs are based in South-East Asia which is host to more than half of the global total of human trafficking victims.

In 2014, Eden began its programs in Myanmar, a nation that has been a hotbed for human trafficking for years. Political instability, natural disasters, and internal ethnic infighting have led to a devastating lack of opportunity for the people of Myanmar. To date, we have reached over 100,000 girls caught in human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Poverty and political unrest are at the heart of Myanmar's human trafficking crisis, which has only grown more severe over recent years. The economic collapse, brought on by the pandemic and political crisis, has exacerbated the level of human trafficking and the need for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and other not-for-profit organizations like Eden to fill this void and provide essential support to victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Through a relationship-focused and trauma-informed approach in our outreach and programs, Eden is able to reach both individuals at high risk of trafficking and victims of human trafficking in the red-light districts of Yangon, Northern, and Eastern Shan state. This access has allowed Eden to identify and assist previously unknown victims of human trafficking, as well as collect vital migration tracking data. This unique design of programming is proven to address the root cause of their trafficking by reducing re-trafficking rates and facilitating sustainable reintegration.

All profits from our jewelry sales directly benefit the women at Eden and support the following programs:

  • Outreach
  • Drop-in Centers
  • Emergency Shelters
  • Trauma Counseling
  • Vocational Training
  • Economic Empowerment
  • Community Education

In 2013, Eden planted its roots in Hong Kong, establishing a front-line branch in this vibrant city. However, we acknowledge that the unfortunate reality of human trafficking and sexual exploitation continues to exist discreetly.

Our dedicated outreach team visits a range of establishments, including one-women-brothels, massage parlors, nightclubs, and street corners where vulnerable individuals gather. Through these consistent efforts, we have successfully reached out to thousands of people within the red light district. We continue to shed light on the issue, raise awareness, and offer crucial assistance to those ensnared in the shadows. By engaging with the diverse range of individuals involved in this complex web of exploitation, we strive to foster understanding, provide resources, and ultimately create pathways to freedom and restoration.
