At Eden, every piece of jewelry tells a story of restoration, dignity, and hope by reflecting the journey of a human trafficking survivor. Women who have experienced and overcome human trafficking and sexual exploitation are employed full-time in our safe, trauma-informed jewelry workshops. These women are empowered to build new futures for themselves and their families.

Eden's jewelry pieces range in intricacy from hand-beaded earrings to pre-fabricated rings, allowing women of all abilities and confidence levels to get involved, whether it’s assembling the piece from start to finish or packaging it in Eden’s green signature box. Every box also shares the inspirational story behind the design, making every unboxing a meaningful experience.

High-Quality, Safe Materials

Most of our jewelry is crafted using 316L medical-grade stainless steel, known for its exceptional strength, hypoallergenic properties, and resistance to tarnishing or rust. It’s the same grade of stainless steel used in surgical instruments—making it ideal for sensitive skin and long-term wear.

We also use brass and sterling silver in select pieces, offering variety in finish and feel. All of our jewelry is nickel-, lead-, and cadmium-free, and we test regularly to ensure it stays that way.

Long-Lasting, Eco-Friendly Plating

Our pieces are plated with 18K yellow, rose, or white gold using a process called vacuum plating, also known as PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition). Compared to traditional electroplating, PVD plating:

  • Creates a stronger, more durable bond between metal and coating

  • Extends the life of your jewelry, helping it stay vibrant and scratch-resistant

  • Produces less chemical waste, making it more environmentally responsible

Ethical and Responsible Sourcing

We source the majority of our metals and findings from ethically-run factories in China, with whom we maintain close, long-standing relationships. We visit regularly to ensure ethical labor practices and to reinforce our shared commitment to Eden’s mission.

Other specialty materials—like clay, beads, and glass—are sourced from Europe or Japan, while cotton, thread, and all packaging are produced locally in Myanmar, supporting the communities where our beneficiaries live and work.
